Performance analyst for dedicated endurance athletes

The edge isn’t more data. It’s knowing what to do with it.

Athdex investigates your workouts, wellness, plans, races, and athlete context across weeks, blocks, and seasons—so the work you’ve already put in can sharpen every decision that comes next.

The missing analytical layer

Better answers start with a more complete athlete record.

Useful performance analysis connects what you are training toward, the work you have done, how your body is responding, and the context only you can provide.

Goals & target races

Target events, dates, distances, priorities, and your own definition of a successful season.

Analysis can judge the work against what you are actually preparing for—not a generic benchmark.

Training & plans

Activity and wellness sync through Intervals.icu, imported plans, and workouts you choose to build or revise in Athdex.

A deeper record makes it possible to compare sessions, blocks, execution, and fitness trends over time.

Daily health & recovery

Sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, weight, and other wellness signals available from your connected sources.

Training load can be interpreted alongside your response to it, making recovery findings more personal and useful.

Athlete context

Race history, nutrition and supplements, injuries and medications, equipment, schedule constraints, and athlete-authored notes.

The analyst can explain what the numbers mean for you, with findings shaped by context a device cannot know.

Athdex unifies your data sources—it doesn’t replace them.

Keep your devices, training platforms, and coach. Bring their records into Athdex, or build and revise workouts here, with your history and goals informing the next decision.

Insights that find you

Your training changes every day. Your analysis should keep up.

No dashboard habit required. Athdex watches the record, connects the signals, and brings the useful part to you at the moments it can improve your next decision.

How it works

Build a record that gets more useful over time.

01

Connect your training

Start with Intervals.icu for automatic activity and wellness sync from supported upstream devices such as Garmin, Polar, Oura, WHOOP, and more. Optional calendar access adds plans already stored in Intervals.icu.

02

Add the context that matters

Bring in TrainingPeaks or Strava exports, plans, race history, goals, health context, and the athlete-authored details devices cannot know.

03

Ask consequential questions

Evaluate a build, compare similar races, understand a fitness change, or pressure-test the next decision—with evidence attached.

04

Let the analysis come to you

Read morning briefings, workout analyses, and weekly briefings in Athdex. Choose email, push, or Telegram delivery, and workout-by-workout analysis or a daily digest.

Beta terms, plainly stated

Use Athdex free throughout the beta.

The private beta includes the full Analyst+ experience at no charge. When paid plans begin, choose Analyst at $10 a month for on-demand analysis or Analyst+ at $20 a month for proactive monitoring and delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Know what you are connecting—and what the product does with it.

Who is Athdex for?

It is for dedicated endurance athletes who already generate meaningful training data and want better decisions from it. It is especially useful for multi-sport athletes, self-coached athletes, and athletes working across several platforms.

How does Intervals.icu work with Athdex?

Intervals.icu is the preferred automatic connection. With read-only authorization, Athdex can import eligible activities and wellness data from Garmin, Wahoo, and other non-Strava upstreams, then keep the record current. Calendar access is optional and adds planned workouts and races already stored in Intervals.icu; Garmin Coach and Garmin Connect plans are not included by the normal Garmin connection. Activities that reached Intervals.icu from Strava are excluded from Athdex analysis.

Should I still bring in TrainingPeaks data?

Yes, if TrainingPeaks is where you or your coach curate the record. TrainingPeaks exports can add edited workout names, notes, RPE, intensity factor, and TrainingPeaks TSS. Those fields can remain authoritative while Intervals.icu fills eligible device and wellness gaps.

What happens when the same workout arrives from several places?

Athdex matches overlapping source records and rebuilds one canonical activity from their retained contributions. Field precedence is explicit, source provenance is preserved, and import order does not decide the winner. TrainingPeaks TSS and Intervals training load remain separate metrics rather than being silently mixed.

How are suspicious or incorrect workouts handled?

Automated quality checks flag unusual duration, distance, pace, power, heart rate, and load patterns for review. Source collisions and ambiguous matches are quarantined instead of overwriting a trusted record. Confirmed errors can be excluded from analysis while the underlying source history remains auditable.

How is my data protected?

Athlete data is protected by account authentication, per-athlete database access controls, and private file storage. The chat model receives model-safe views rather than provider tokens, raw provider snapshots, or other athletes’ data. Athdex does not sell athlete data or use it for advertising. See the full data privacy policy here.

How does the AI chat work?

The analyst receives a carefully assembled system prompt, relevant athlete context, and read-only tools for querying the structured record. Athdex uses models from Anthropic and OpenAI, selected automatically for the request. Both providers operate through the same evidence and safety layer.

How do Telegram briefings work?

After connecting Telegram to your Athdex account, you can choose notification-only delivery or receive the full briefing in Telegram. Full delivery can include morning briefings, workout analyses, and weekly briefings when enough relevant data is available. You can reply in Telegram for follow-up questions, although the installable Athdex mobile app currently offers a richer analysis experience. Telegram bot conversations use cloud chats rather than end-to-end encrypted Secret Chats, so briefing content sent there is stored by Telegram and available across your devices. Choose notification-only delivery if you prefer to keep the full briefing inside Athdex.

What does Athdex remember about me?

Memories carry confirmed goals, preferences, constraints, and lessons into relevant future analysis. You can review their source and scope, edit them, mark them no longer applicable, or delete them. Saving a Memory does not schedule a future alert or follow-up. Chat history remains available for continuity; this does not mean Athdex retrains a model on your conversations. By default, Anthropic and OpenAI do not use commercial API inputs or outputs to train their models.

Can I disconnect a source or delete my data?

Yes. You can disconnect supported integrations, and Intervals.icu disconnect offers a choice to retain or remove its imported contributions. When a source is removed, canonical activities are rebuilt from the sources you keep. Account deletion removes the athlete record and associated private files.

What does the beta cost?

Beta participants receive the full Analyst+ experience at no charge for the duration of the beta. At paid launch, founding monthly pricing is $10 for Analyst and $20 for Analyst+.
